ELMED Elektronik ve Medikal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. established in Ankara, Turkey to produce Turkish ESWL systems.

ELMED produced the first Turkish made ESWL device.

The first clinical studies have been completed with the first Turkish-made ESWL device.

The first Turkish-made ESWL device was exported to Syria.

ELMED introduced the first Turkish-made ESWL device to urology specialists attending from all over the world at the AUA (American Urological Association) Congress and received great acclaim.

ELMED has been certified according to EN ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard

First Turkish-made In-Body Pneumatic Lithotripter device was exported to the USA

ELMED produced the first prototype of the Avicenna Roboflex and is certified with the CE mark

ELMED presented Avicenna Roboflex at the EAU congress in Stockholm. The robot was used in a live operation, which was watched by about three thousand people.
